The Return of Swamp Thing is a sci-fi-comedy film made in 1989, and was directed by Jim Wynorski. It is based on the DC Comics (later Vertigo Comics) title Swamp Thing and is a sequel to the 1982 horror film Swamp Thing directed by Wes Craven; however, it had a lighter tone than the previous film. The film was issued on DVD by Image Entertainment, with a commentary by Wynorski which suggests that some of the film's humor was not as intentional as it seems, and that Wynorski had a degree of contempt for the material.

It seems that we were in the midst of crashing and sleeping well (which I will go in to more), when the day planner in the cell phone decided to screw up and alarmed as it does to remind me of meeting and appts etc. I had cleared everything from it for the next 2 weeks and it seems when ever it changes time zones it alarms funky. So we were up at 8:45 EST which was 5:45 PST. Ugh, needless to say still feeling a little tired. The bed situation last night was quite unique and I say that positively. Mom and Dad had 2 twin beds co-joined to make a king size bed. The hotel we stayed at was a lodge and it was the old Air Force Barracks in Watson Lake. This barracks for pilots while the Alcan was being built was transformed into this lodge. The lodge was really nice and clean, had a home like atmosphere, complete with requests for shoes to be taken off at the front door. The beds mom and dad were in were custom built for the pilots to be extra long. Each of the rooms has only the 2 twin beds in it with not much else for room. This town isnt in any guide book, and the only reason i knew about it was because of the special features on the great escape dvd i watched before i left. No one in Krakow or Warsaw had ever heard of this place. It was a 7 hour train ride to the west of poland. I arrived and walked out the train station. Thinking to myself is this the one from the movie. Then remembering the movie was not shot in Poland, because it was under the iron curtain. I didnt have any map because it was impossible to find a map of this little town on the internet. I also didnt really have a place to stay. I tried calling some lady who i found ran a hotel their on the internet. She didnt speak english. I asked the train lady for a map, she gove me a map of the [HTML_REMOVED]...[HTML_REMOVED]

The tour was organised by our Posada (backpackers residence) so it was convenient to roll out of bed and into the Land Rover for the tour starting at 8am. Our co travellers, a DIVINE Spanish couple, Mercedes and Jaquin, were late as she was up sick all night. Nice. Soon it struck us, as we were pacing around checking the watch and getting ants in our pants cos it was late, that TIA can be TIV too. This is Venezuela, and much like This Is Africa, time is NOT important. Also coming along for the ride is a local girl and her one year old baby girl (more on her later).We opt to chill and go to the local bakery for special birthday breakfast. 10 hours in the back of a land rover and much conversation in broken spanish-english, we learn that Mercedes is a speach therapist and is keen to teach us some Spanish = score! Besides long and hot the drive was STUNNING, going up up up up into the Andes and down the other side again. At the very top its pretty chilly but then heats up again. There are little towns at the top of the mountains that are so high they are literally in the clouds, you have to see it to believe how and where these people live. Interview conducted by Eileen Hurst. Parker joined the US Marine Corps on July 22, 1968 just after graduation from high school. He attended boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, and after additional training in North Carolina and California, Parker was assigned to Danang Air Base in Vietnam. His first assignment in Danang was as a baker, and then later he was assigned to the mailroom on the base. In addition to the seven day a week job in the mail room, he also went out on patrols, or as extra help with reconnaissance at night as a machine gunner. He was discharged in February of 1970, and returned home to West Hartford, CT, where he worked as a firefighter for 24 years in West Hartford, and in Hartford for seven. He joined the VFW in West Hartford shortly after returning from Vietnam.

During a evening forage, a strange creature was caught on a deer stand camera near Berwick, Louisiana. The hunter returned the next morning to find his camera broken, but the memory card was still inside. The creature looks like a hybrid human/animal, but has long slender appendages and glowing eyes. The hunter wished to remain ananymous and claims the picture is not a hoax. Local news describes the thing in the pic: It looks like a cross between a human and an animal, with long slender appendages and glowing eyes.
